55 Division CPLC Police Week Community Fair and BBQ!

A family-friendly festivity for all ages will happen Wednesday, May 26 from 4 - 8 pm at Woodbine Park on Queen St. E. at Winners' Circle - right across from Country Style and Murphy's Law.

Come meet your†neighbours at this free event!†There will be a Toronto Maple Leafs-themed interactive play area, jumping castles, face painting, all-ages bingo, a live band, and more! Bring your cameras and snap family photos with members of the Toronto Police Motorcycle Mounted, and Canine units. Equipment and services from Toronto Fire and Emergency Services will be there too!

This year, the event focuses on youth and seniors. Numerous activities have been planned and a number of vital, non-profit, community organizations will be showcasing wonderful programmes including the Crime Prevention Association of Toronto, WoodGreen Community Services, Neighbourhood Link, and local Business Improvement Areas

Through a variety of raffles, pay-what-you-can activities, and a barbeque, money will be raised to support various local, non-profit, community based projects that 55 Divisionís Community Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) funds throughout the year. In the past, donations have been made to local graffiti eradication/clean up days, Senior Link, 55 Division Youth Scholarship Program, and Eastview Community Centre -- just to name a few!
