The 8th Annual Triangle Brass Christmas Carol Event on December 19th

Over much of the past decade several members from various local community bands and orchestras have come together to perform what is now a Christmas tradition in the Beach Triangle: carol singing with brass accompaniment.
While ostensibly a fund-raising event for the Canadian Cancer Society (with several hundred dollars typically raised every year), the event is mainly for fun and good cheer, and those caroled to should not feel obliged to donate for the rousing performances of traditional Christmas carols delivered on their doorstep.
The band and singers typically start off from Brookmount Road, head up to Dixon, and then head south at Rainsford and then along Queen and back to the starting point. The length and duration of the event depends largely on the weather, but hot chocolate is available for everyone to warm themselves up afterwards.
This year's event will be held on Monday December 19th, starting at 7pm. If interested in joining in, please email Erika Schengili-Roberts at: erika@esrproductionsound.com, or call 416-698-2995, or simply join the players as they travel through the Triangle.
