Animal Licensing Takes Front Seat!

We understand the City is placing new emphasis on pet licensing this year. The municipal code requires that all dogs and cats owned in the City of Toronto must be licensed and wearing a tag. By licensing your dog or cat, Animal Services will make every effort to reunite you with your lost pet.
Failure to license your pet each year may result in a $240.00 ticket. If you are taken to court under the current law, the maximum penalty is a $5,000.00 fine.
Be a responsible owner; license your pet today! Toronto Animal Services currently offers reduced fees for cat and dog owners: Per Dog: $60 (unless spayed or neutered: $25); Per Cat: $50 (unless spayed or neutered: $15); and Seniors Discount: 50%. On-line service is available.
