Enthusiastic Residents Conduct Parking Poll

A committee of Triangle residents was brought together in April to conduct a poll on all interior streets in the Triangle to test resident interest in changing the one-hour parking limit, dating back to problems with Greenwood Race Track. Thanks to Peter Demarco and Laura Inward for survey design, to the eight enthusiastic canvassers, and to the BTRA Board for assistance in logistics, the poll was completed in only one month.
Although results are still being tabulated at the time of publication of Triangle Topics, canvassers reported strong support for change to a three-hour limit.
The results will be turned over to Councillor Sandra Bussin's office, to determine if support was strong enough for approval of the change.
