Third Annual Beach Triangle Funfest a Success

On Saturday, September 11th, the Triangle Community Group (TCG) hosted its 3rd Annual Beach Triangle Charity Funfest. It was a beautiful day, and close to 300 neighbors/friends gathered to enjoy the festivities! From a bouncy castle and face painting to a BBQ, local artisans' market and an amazing Silent Auction, there truly was something for everyone. Many thanks Liz Smith for sponsoring the day's events, to several local merchants for their generous raffle/silent auction donations, to Mad Dog from Virgin Radio for hosting, to Britannia Printers and the Ad Company for printing and designing this year's flyer, to Laugh Along Entertainment and the Not Affiliated Big Band for entertaining us all day, and to all our volunteers who helped to make the day special. We were very proud to raise over $2,000 for our deserving charity, the Geneva Center for Autism.
This year's funfest was "bigger and better", and will be tough to beat next year... but we're up to the challenge! Please plan to join us for Funfest 2011, which will be held the Saturday after labour day weekend! And don't miss another event brought to you by the TCG, “Love Thy Neighbour" which will take place February 12, 2011!
