Cycle Toronto Ward 32

Oct 6th, 2014 | By | Category: Winter 2013

David Oppenheim, a local resident and member of Cycle Toronto Ward 32, is trying to make cycling easier through the Triangle. Presently if you come along Dundas out of downtown Toronto along the bicycle route, the bike lanes end at Kingston Road and there is no easy way to the rest of the Beach without traveling along dangerously busy routes. The cycling group is proposing bike routes along Dixon and Norway that will allow bicycles to move opposite to car traffic in their own marked lane (contraflow). Cyclists will also be assisted in crossing Woodbine by the new crosswalk proposed at Columbine.
